Halloween was a lot of fun. We had Trunk or Treat at the church a few days before Halloween. The teenagers were in charge of games and a haunted house, and everyone had a good time. On Halloween night we all went our separate ways - Michael, Elizabeth, Rebekah and Josh all went with friends, which left me with only Rachel! Another sign that everyone is growing up, I guess. Janessa and her girls and Rachel's friend, Sami, went trick or treating with us. The girls were really funny, they were ready to come home after about 1/2 hour, and we convinced them that they only got to go trick or treating once each year! Lindsay said, "yeah, but we go every year!" It was really cute, Halloween was always one of my favorite holidays as a kid, so it's hard to understand their mentality!

How fun! Loved Michael's costume - So many fun memories of going trick-or-treating with you. Yeah - we definitely wouldn't have tolerated the 1/2 hour thing - I think we went for at least 2-3 hours. Great memories!

Love Josh's costume and Michael's is downright hilarious! My kids definitely want to go for the 2-3 hour thing already and we aren't up for that much trick-or-treating or candy! 1 - 1 1/2 hours is about all we can handle!
I loved the pictures. The costumes were great. Rachel you make a very cute munchkin. I think trick or treating was such a big thing for all of you because you didn't get a lot of store bought treats. Cookies were mainly what we had and candy occasionally.
That is cool you talked her into staying out a little longer.
I can't imagine what kind of candy they give out in Lake Oswego.
All of your costumes are very unique. It looks like you had a great time getting ready for the big event.
